About Our Tours
All our tours are culture based sightseeing adventure tours that do not require any off road experience. The road conditions vary from tarmac, gravel, farm roads, roads under construction and forest tracks. These are all normal roads for the region.
Road rules are the same in India, Bhutan and Nepal as here in the UK. The local drivers and riders just don’t abide by them. While in Tibet/China you ride on the right as in main land Europe and America. While riding you will come across many road situations that will make you smile and some that will make you cringe. Army convoys, trucks and buses we will meet with caution. Pedestrians, dogs, cows, chickens, cats, goats, pigs, bicycles, tricycles/rickshaws and yaks also demand high attention while riding.
NEW TOUR IN 2009
We have just completed a new tour route for the first time yet again Himalayan Adventures have been the first to the sacred summits in the Mustang area of Nepal on motorcycles and will be offering you the chance to take this adventure route on Royal Enfields from 2009.
